Lauren Dodge ’18 receives Maine Principal’s Award

Lauren R. Dodge of Lee, Maine, a senior at Lee Academy, has been selected to receive the 2018 Principal’s Award, Headmaster Gus LeBlanc announced today. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“Lauren has been an exemplary student and citizen at Lee Academy. In addition to graduating as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2018, she has been extensively active in student organizations, associations and sports during her high school career. Lauren is a very motivated and highly dedicated individual who has consistently excelled in all that she has attempted”, Headmaster LeBlanc noted in making the award. “Lauren is an outstanding representative of Lee Academy”.

Lauren, Headmaster LeBlanc and other award winners and their principals will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 12:30 p.m.

The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
