Lee Academy post-graduate athletes sign college contracts

L.A. post-graduate basketball player Dusan Majstorovic, of Beocin, Serbia, has signed a contract with Utah State University, receiving a full athletic scholarship.

Prior to his career at Lee Academy, Majstorovic was MVP of the Serbian Junior League and a member of KK Star Novi Ledinci. A very talented shooting guard with great size and athletic abilities, Majstorovic is more than just a shooter and is a natural scorer, averaging 13.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. In his senior year he had an impressive 25-10 record and established himself as a team leader, and is expected to continue to grow and make a difference for Lee’s team this year.

Majstorovic is the son of Nikola and Slavica Majstorovic, and plans to major in Business at Utah State.

 

 

Ilija Stojiljkovic of Nis, Serbia, has signed a contract with the University of Maine, earning a full athletic scholarship.

Prior to his career at Lee, Stojiljkovic was Leading Rebounder of the Junior League of Serbia, top 5 in the Leage, and part of OKK Nibac Nis, averaging 16 points and 9 rebounds in the strong Serbian U-18 league. Stojiljkovic is a versatile player with a high basketball IQ that can cover small forward and power forward positions. His unique skill set and shooting ability makes him a difficult match-up for opponents. He is a player with great character and leadership skills, and is expected to lead the Lee team to another successful season.

Stojiljkovic is the son of Marija and Goran Stojiljkovic, and plans to major in Business at the University of Maine.
