Our Mission
The mission of the Lee Academy Alumni Association, established in 1909, is to engage alumni in the ongoing support and prosperity of Lee Academy and its students.
Who We Are
The Association helps to maintain ties between the over 3.500 alumni who live in the all corners of the globe. Alumni have been instrumental in the continued growth of programs and facilities over the years. It is well known that the "ties that bind" members of the Lee Academy community, past and present, are enduring and filled with fond memoires.
We could not do the good things we do without the support of our members. The very structure of private schools is such that its financial stability relies on an active, healthy alumni base. Lee Academy, establish in 1845 in rural Maine, has been educating students locally and globally for nearly 175 years. Its strength and longevity can be measured by the depth and breadth of its philanthropic history. We are proud of this history and our Association works to promotes and preserve this legacy.
Our goal and story is one of working diligently to re-connect our people and to work persistently to become financially strong in such a way as to be able to help our school and every student in it.

How To Join
Once you graduate from Lee Academy, you may join the Alumni Association by paying an annual due of just $10 a year. This small contribution allows the association to continue connecting alumni around the world and plan projects and events to benefit Lee Academy.
The LA Alumni Association organizes the annual August reunion and supports its alma mater in the mailing of the school’s bi-annual school newsletter which is mailed and emailed to every alumnus/a. The Association also helps to maintain ties between more than 3,500 alumni who live all across the World. Every third weekend of August, the annual reunion brings hundreds of graduates back to campus during the beautiful Maine summer. Alumni have been instrumental in the continued growth of programs and facilities over the years.
